A Midsummer Night’s Dream 2006

With the hottest summer on record, the second Lord Chamberlain’s Men production proved a smash hit and played this hugely popular comedy to huge audiences out to enjoy the sun and Shakespeare. This magical play of fairies and young lovers is set in an enchanted forest, and features some of the most unforgettable Shakespearean characters, including Puck and Nick Bottom, the grandiose amateur actor.
