Macbeth 2005
The Lord Chamberlain’s Men’s inaugural production was Shakespeare’s most popular play, Macbeth, which kick-started the company’s reputation for vibrant, visually stunning work. Guided by supernatural forces beyond his control and egged on by his ambitious wife, Macbeth starts down a trail of murder and deceit that leads him to the Scottish throne and his own inevitable, catastrophic downfall.
